F**king awesome Friday night. I wonder why I bothered to come home. Should have just stayed in the office to sort out this bullshit.

Rocky road ahead
Courtesy of a meanie that said that my blog was boring, here's a nice song that I heard on the radio on my way back. Oddly, on 91.3FM (a channel that I really don't like listening to. In any case, here's Love Bug by Jonas Brothers.
It's going to be a crazy time this week. This is the week of firings. Cuts are coming on Wednesday and everyone is jittery and yet, anxious to get this over and done with. Mood in the office really sucks. Oh wells, wish me luck. Hopefully, I will still be able to say that I am employed come the next weekend.
Take care everyone. For those in the US / Ann Arbor, stay warm and toasty. For all the other folks in Singapore, stay warm too, the weather nowadays is just ridiculously bad. Rain, rain, and more rain. Feeling uneasy heading into the week. Hopefully things will work out fine. Else, I'm going to have to start ringing people for jobs soon.

A rare early night
Home early, which is something short of a miracle. Wonder why I bothered to come home so early...
Oh wells, hope all is going well for everyone. Work has been hectic in a way but time is a little more manageable. Still getting work here and there but things are moving at a slightly slower pace compared to the madness of the last month.
Fighting battles and trying to work things out on all fronts has left me really drained, physically and mentally. And as if the Michigan football team is feeling as down as me, there has been losses after losses, the first losing season since the 1960s, and possibly, the most losses ever in a season if this goes on. Nonetheless, I will keep going, and so will they because I will believe in myself and I believe that the people who I care about, care just as much for me. At least, I hope so.
I know my buddies from Grand Canyon don't have access to this blog. But as I was sitting at Shin Kushiya the other day (Japanese restaurant in Suntec City), there was a stage set up outside and I heard this song come on.
Seems like just yesterday, when I was there with everyone in Dreyson's house, playing beer pong and playing rock band. Having the time of my life feeling at ease and comfort knowing that there I was, with an awesome bunch of people whom I have had the honor of meeting and walking through the depths of the Grand Canyon with. Mark, Dreyson, Em, Miss, Andrea, Brian, Lisa, Mich, it was definitely one of the most memorable times in Michigan. Val wasn't there since she was at dance practice or something for the senior's day thing. In any case, the nights spent playing beer pong at Dreyson's place, watching them pass out drunk and staying there all night, sitting in the chair and watching over the kids, amazing.
Miss days out in the Canyon, or out in Joshua Tree, with a backpack on my back, stars and the clear blue sky above, and just the earth beneath my feet. Miss days when it was all simple and worry-free. Those were the days. Thanks guys. Miss the times we had so much.
Going to take a shower and look through some photos before heading to bed. Day didn't work out as I tried or hoped to, but then again, it always never does. Have a good night.
