Exams, homework-free day, 不能说的秘密

Didn't get any sleep last night. Random thoughts in my mind and also just probably thinking about the exam today. In any case, the exam, hopefully, didn't go too bad. Really irritated with the vendors for setting such ambiguous exams and expecting everyone to draw the same conclusions / answers for the questions.

No homework today for the first time ever. Suddenly wishing that I had stayed later to re-work the LBO model in class now.

Mugging Sunday

Feeling quite tired out from an entire day spend studying for my valuation exam tomorrow. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the courses weren't taught as well as they could have been. Had to figure out quite a fair bit of the stuff on our own, and that took a lot longer than expected. Ran home after I managed finish up intensive work on the practice questions. Oh well, while studying, my mind wandered occasionally from time to time. Quite a jumbled mess of thoughts inside my head. I think it takes a great leap of faith to believe in people. Trust, completely.

Short update and a nice song 周杰伦 - 世界末日

Miss listening to songs like that and running through the arb. I think, it really takes a million tons of effort to care, and a billion not to.

I haven't updated this blog in a long time. Haven't had the time to do it, and also can't really be bothered to. In London now at the moment, ending my third week of training. Exam in a couple of hours and I'm done working through the basic valuation models in 30 minutes instead of the stipulated 2 hours. Another 10 more times of practice and I should be fine. Lets get it down to 20 minutes.

Dreams like that are really not very amusing... Sigh. Oh well, I have to ace my exam. Back to the wonderful world of Excel.
